Cabbage w/ Beans 🇷🇼

INGREDIENTS

Pinto Beans (Canned)

Cabbage

Tomatoes

Onions

Green pepper

Cooking oil                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      DIRECTIONS                                                                                                                                                                  I cut the cabbage into thin strands. I cut some onions, garlic, green pepper, tomatoes and put them in a blender for that even mix. I pour oil into a pot on a medium heat stove till warm. I then added the cabbage with the blender mix. I sprinkle some salt into the mix and adjust the heat to medium low. The reason for this is so the cabbage can slow cook. I toss and turn the cabbage and once the oil starts swimming to the top then I know we almost ready. I crack open my can of pinto beans. I clean them up using hot water with vinegar to get rid of the can smell. I then pour these fresh smelling beans into the cabbage pot. I toss and turn them so the beans can acquire the taste in the pot. I let them cook together on low for a few minutes then I serve dinner.
